A great way to start the new year is with a super clean home but if, like me, housework is not one of your favourite occupations, it's great to find a machine which makes vacuuming a pleasure which isn't time-consuming.
I was offered a Hoover Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with Anti Hair Wrap & ULTRA COMPACT X3™, Red - HF2 for review and jumped at the chance. I have reviewed cordless cleaners before and was interested to see the developments – if any – which have evolved.
This Hoover Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is a dream to use. To activate the cordless machine I previously used, you have to depress the a switch and keep your finger on it throughout operation and this can be awkward. The Hoover cleaner has an on/off switch so an immediate winner for me. The suction power is impressive but you can turbo charge this but clicking the button – great for carpets.
The machine is a every light 2.35kg and simply glides over the floor. A feature I particularly like is the light on the front that shows the dust and debris especially useful on wooden and laminate floors. The HF2 has brilliant manoeuvrability which is perfect for getting around and under furniture.
Another plus factor is the Anti Hair Wrap feature. that automatically removes hair from the brushbar. Using specially developed bristles and an integrated comb, this handy feature automatically untangles hair as you clean – particularly useful for those with family members with long hair!. The top window pops open for instant access, making maintenance completely hassle-free.
The last hing you want to do when you're on a cleaning roll, is to stop to empty the "bin". With the HF2 you just pull up the bin and this effectively compacts what you've vacuumed up and triples capacity to one litre.
Charging the HF2 takes three and a half hours. A full charge is indicated by three lights and when you're nearing the end of a charge, one light starts flashing. A charge lasts 40 minutes and, believe me, that gives you a lot of floor cleaning.
The HF2 comes with one extra tool, a nozzle with is ideal for attacking cobwebs and cleaning stairs as well as nooks and crannies
If you can fall in love with a domestic appliance, I think I have.
