And in Corfu, the three-star Philoxenia Hotel offers a week’s half board in a twin-bedded room with pull-out bed for the child at a cost of £1,008 for the whole family: Mum, Dad and one child two to five years*. That includes flights from Gatwick on 4 June and transfers and represents a saving of £229 on the original price (18 per cent). The hotel has fine sea views, a separate swimming pool for kids and is only 100 yards from the beach at Ermones.
