Zizzi restaurants are found throughout the UK from ten in Scotland to 52 in the south east of England. They have a new children's menu and invited Anne Coates and family to try it out at their Tower Hill venue.

Roast – restaurant review

No restaurant is more family-friendly than one offering free meals to children under 12 during all school holidays – each child accompanied by an adult. Olivia, Harriet and Anne Coates sampled dinner at Roast in London's Borough Market and couldn't fault the service, food or child-friendly attitudes.

The Sarnia Restaurant, Hotel Peninisula Guernsey

Staying at the Peninsular Hotel in Guernsey, Harriet and Anne Coates were able to sample the delights of the Thursday Seafood Buffet in their Sarnia Restaurant. Well worth a visit if you are not staying at the hotel.

While staying in Pertisau, Anne Coates and family tried a local restaurant: Via Pasto which wasn't quite so child-friendly as they had anticipated.

At the Hotel Wiesenhof dining en famille is no problem – in fact they have designated areas for all different sizes of families and the chef makes sure everyone is happy with their food.

Eating out with children can be stressful but the Italians are renowned for loving children so we regularly take Harriet to Strada which has restaurants throughout the UK.
