While we were staying at
Hotel Wiesenhof, we decided to try a
local restaurant in Pertisau. Olivia had spotted the
Via Pasto Pizzeria Restaurant so we booked a table for
Sunday lunch. We arrived to find a
table with high chair at the ready and a
friendly welcome.
Bur from then on it our
experience deteriorated. As anyone knows who eats out with
young children you often need
food fast, so we ordered
olives and
garlic bread to be followed by a child's portion of
pasta, a
pizza for me and
arrabiata for Olivia plus a
salad to share.
The
bread didn't arrive until well after my rather
unappetising pizza, Harriet's pasta was in a dish so
hot we couldn't put it near her. The only one whose
meal was acceptable was Olivia's. Our salad
never arrived except on the
bill!
We're being
generous with out
rating because the
restaurant was nicely set out and comfortable.
Olivia's lunch really was tasty but I certainly wouldn't go there with
small children. Older ones would
cope better with the wait! In made us appreciate the
Hotel Wiesenhof restaurant even more!
Toilets are downstairs so difficult for
disabled access.
