Throughout February half-term week and the Easter holidays families can join London Transport Museum’s make and take arts and crafts workshops and story time sessions inspired by the 150th Anniversary of the London Underground. Hear about some of the characters that appear in our new exhibition Poster Art 150 – London Underground’s Greatest Designs, like Petra the Penguin and Percy the Policeman, and their Tube travelling story time adventure. Become an artist of the Underground with our make and take poster workshop.

February half-term: Saturday 16 – Sunday 24 February
Story time: 11.00 and 14.00
Open to all ages but most suitable for age three to seven years.
Jump aboard the time travelling Tube and let your imagination run wild as we take a journey through time. Discover hidden London landmarks – past and future – with characters, like Petra the Penguin and Percy the Policeman, brought to life from Poster Art 150.

Make and Take Craft Workshop: 11.30 and 14.30
Open to all ages but most suitable for age four to 12 years
Choose a poster from our new exhibition Poster Art 150 and transform it from a poster of the past to one of the future.  What will change?  Will there be aliens travelling on the tube? Astronauts steering trains through the tunnels to Space?

Easter holidays: Monday 1 April – Friday 12 April

Story time: 11.00 and 14.00
Open to all ages but most suitable for age three to seven years.
Find out about London’s Underground stations and meet the imaginary characters who live there.  Listen to tales of adventures as they reveal the secrets of what life is like on the Underground.

Make and Take Craft Workshop: 11.30 and 14.30
Open to all ages but most suitable for age four to 12 years
Add your contribution to a model tube station, before becoming a junior architect and designing your own fantastical station.

Entrance to the London Transport Museum is free for children under 16. Adult admission is £15.00 (£11.50 concessions) and tickets allow unlimited entry for a whole year.
