Mobile home and camping operator, Canvas Holidays, has announced the addition of the Italian island of Sardinia to the destinations they will be offering for 2008.The site, Baia Blu La Tortuga, enjoys an idyllic location on the northern coast and has direct access to a sandy beach backed by pine forests.
Facilities include:
- watersports school featuring windsurfing, dinghy sailing and diving lessons;
- tennis, football, archery;
- cycle hire;
- restaurant, specialising in Sardinian delicacies.
Price
An example of price, a seven-night accommodation-only holiday in early May for two adults and up to four children – for bookings made before 12 December – costs £161 per party (saving £20) staying in an air-conditioned Festival midi mobile home.
