If you are short like me, there are always cupboards and shelves that are just out of reach – and you don’t always want to get out the step-ladder - so I was delighted to try out this new Pink Step.
The step folds flat for storage, opens with one movement and weighs very little. Amazingly it can also be used by heavier people – up to 23 stone!
I found it really useful in the garden, when I needed to prune higher branches on bushes and also as a little table beside my deckchair. It wipes clean in seconds and the pink colour is really quite cheering!
I should have used it when I was trying to put some jellies on the top shelf of my new fridge and spilled most of them but I did use the Pink Step to reach the shelf to clean it afterwards!
Another great use, of course, is when younger visitors need some height. It’s a long time since daughter Olivia needed a step in the bathroom and she’s now taller than I am but we have many friends with young children for whom this step is ideal.
My little friend Toby gave the step a test drive - it made a perfect little stool and its non-slip surface makes it safe for little feet.
The Pink Step (£9.99) is available from Boots and www.jmldirect.co.uk and is available in blue as well.
