This Bestway Big Lagoon Curved Family Pool is ideal for several children to play in, and plenty of room for a couple of adults too! Of course, you have to have a big enough garden to accommodate it as the the dimensions are 2.62m long by 1.57m wide by 46cm high – generously sized pool and perfect for older children and carefully supervised younger ones.
I would not want to blow this up without using an electric pump due to its size, but with the pump (a worthwhile investment at £5.99 which you can also use to deflate the pool) it only took a few minutes to fully inflate.
The water capacity is 544 litres (144 gallons), so it needs a lot of water which should be taken into account. There is a side valve for filling the pool (assuming you have no hosepipe ban) which also can be used to empty the water onto your garden plants. There is a drain valve in the bottom.
The quality feels good and it is made of PVC vinyl which does not feel flimsy but it does come with one heavy-duty repair patch in case of punctures.
Overall I would say it’s a very good choice for two or more children who want a decent amount of water to splash around in! Plus, if water is in short supply you can use it as a ball pond for smaller children.
