Over half term (23 to 31 May 2015) Lancaster London is offering a complimentary Kid’s Afternoon Tea for all children under the age of 12 accompanied by a dining adult (up to two children per adult.)
Holidaying children will be able to choose between a mini traditional Afternoon Tea spread, or a fun Kid’s Tea put together by Executive Chef Ben Purton.
The Kid’s Tea, a traditional high tea with a light-hearted twist, includes Nutella, peanut butter & jam sandwiches; hot chocolate with mini marshmallows; and a selection of adorable sweet treats including strawberry cake pops; chocolate brownies with Smarties; and carrot cup cakes.
For children with a more mature palette, savoury classics with a contemporary twist such as Roast beef filled Yorkshire pudding with horseradish cream; Wild mushroom, chicken and tarragon tartlets; Lancaster London smoked salmon sandwiches and more are available.
The renowned Afternoon Tea at Lancaster London is served with nostalgic candy inspired sweet treats such as: White chocolate truffle & raspberry lollypops with popping candy; Mini passion fruit & raspberry macaroons; and a Caramel & hazelnut tranche.
Fresh-out–the-oven scones (plain and raisin) will be served warm, with home-made strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream.
Priced at £30, the regular Afternoon Tea is accompanied by a selection of fresh loose leaf teas. Guests are even presented with a mini sand-timer each to make sure their Novus Tea is brewed to perfection.
