For the last month I have been testing three products from the MÁDARA range, two face creams - one a Light Moisturising Fluid, the other a Deep Moisturising Cream - and the ecobody moisturising lotion.
For the first few days I used the light fluid in the mornings and the deep moisturising cream at night. The light fluid did not suit my skin, which didn't feel especially moisturised after use. It was also a poor base for my foundation. I changed to use the deep moisturising cream morning and evening and got on far better.
The MÁDARA deep moisturising cream had a great texture, no real scent (unsurprisingly, this is true of all three products) and my skin felt well moisturised. The eco cosmetics leaflet recommends the deep moisturiser for dry, sensitive and 35+ skin - categories I easily fall into as one of their definitions of dry skin is that “superficial lines may be visible”!
I have been using the deep moisturising cream twice a day for the past month and although I can see no discernible visual improvement in my skin, I do feel very happy with the feel of the product.
Ecobody moisturising lotion is a general body lotion containing extracts of plantain, seaweed, camomile and calendula. The lotion is light and was easily absorbed by my skin. At seven months pregnant I have been getting itchy skin and find this cream soothing. Its “pure credentials” are also very reassuring.
The MÁDARA range is beautifully packaged in recycled card boxes with minimal graphics and elegant typography, giving them a certain aesthetic chic. The purity of the natural ingredients, strong eco credentials, absence of petrochemicals and petroleum by-products and lovely packaging make this an attractive range of products.
I would happily buy from the The MÁDARA range for either myself or as a gift for friends.

All products which need protection from air are packaged in vacuum dispensers to prevent oxidisation and contact with bacteria. The products are contained in opaque material which not only protects from sunlight but also avoids the use of artificial preservatives.
