This year the
Ski and Snowboard Show is set to be better than ever before with fresh
new attractions, delicious food and drink, and lots of
winter fun for the whole
family.
Top reasons to check out the show this year:
Free lessons for all: the centerpiece of the show is the
Trespass Skills Slope where free ski and snowboard lessons from the renowned instructors of the
Warren Smith Ski Academy will be available for kids and adults, beginners and experts alike.
Get involved: thrill-seekers can
learn jumps and spins under expert guidance on the
have-a-go airbag kicker and everyone can get active in the
ice rink and curling area and for the little ones there’s
tubing as well – all
free of charge!
For the adults: enjoy a relaxed time at the show with boutique
wine and beer appreciation sessions, après ski at the
Norway Resorts Bar and films featuring some of the best freestyle skiers on show. With a
late night opening on Thursday 1 November until 21.30, it’s an ideal after-work
evening out.
For the kids: this year the
very young ones can enjoy
snow tubing or spend time in the
crèche, and there is also the chance to meet
St Bernard mountain rescue dogs, penguins and the nation’s favourite penguin character,
Pingu. Santa will also be making some guest
appearances to give out presents and when he’s not around kids can
post a letter to him with parents safe in the knowledge of a
guaranteed reply from his North Pole hideaway.
10,000 free day lift passes: this year the
Ski and Snowboard Show is going the extra mile and rewarding everyone who books an
adult ticket in advance with one of 10,000
free day lift passes from resorts such as
Chamonix and
Verbier. To claim the pass, visitors simply choose a
participating resort on the "Extras" page in the
ticket booking process and take the
printed ticket and reference number to the relevant stand at the show.
To be in with a
chance of winning a family ticket (two adults and two children, under 11s free)
worth £25 in advance/£35 on the door, just
