Wake is a new skincare brand aimed at those of us who spend long hours at screens emitting blue light and/or in the gym leaving our skin looking lack-lustre and tired.
The Wake story begins with three essentials which I tried: Eye Gel, Face Cream and a Face Mask. All are paraben and sulphate free. Gender neutral, these products are also fragrance free and come in glass jars and recycled cardboard packaging which is also recyclable.
The Eye Gel (£22.98/30ml)
A lightweight refreshing formula containing cucumber, aloe vera and elderflower to cool and depuff plus marine collagen to counteract dark circles and fine lines and vitamin E, a powerful anti-oxidant useful to help prevent ageing of the delicate skin around the eyes.
You only need to apply a tiny amount to feel the benefits and if you have any left over on your fingers, apply to lips.
The Face Cream (£24.98/50ml)
A lightweight, refreshing gel cream formulation that is non-greasy and easy to use containing hyaluronic acid for hydration and marine collagen to protect against blue light emissions.
The Face Mask £27.98/50ml)
This is delicious to use whenever your skin need a pick-me-up. Ingredients include Kaolin for a deep cleanse, zinc oxide to protect and UV rays and shea butter which is anti-inflammatory, healing and soothing. Any surplus on your fingers, rub into the back of your hands.
