Harriet adores Spider-Man. She has the outfit, pyjamas, doll – and now The Amazing Spider-Man 2 premium puzzle from Ravensburger.
This jigsaw is, in fact, three puzzles for the price of one so 147 pieces in the box which can be daunting for a four-year old. However Harriet loves puzzles and with her hero in the picture her attention was captured.
Each puzzle has its own picture in the box – Spider-Man in a different pose – and is different enough to differentiate the pieces. Harriet soon got the idea of starting with the edges and putting the pieces into three piles. Once we had completed all three puzzles we put the pieces into separate envelopes and I'd really reccomend you do this for younger children.
As with all Ravenburger puzzles the pieces are well-cut and durable. Jigsaws are excellent for developing reading skills – word recognition and learning how things fit together – as well as providing entertainment and helping younger children to increase their powers of concentraiton.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 premium puzzle from Ravensburger certainly ticks all the boxes.
