Herbalife Skin Activator

Herbalife's new Skin Activator range is specially formulated using the powerful and effective anti-ageing properties of collagen-building Glucosamine Complex which has, according to the publicity, five key properties:

• helps rebuild weak or damaged cells
• encourages the skin's natural collagen production
• exfoliates the skin's surface to remove dead skin cells
• delivers optimum hydration to areas most in need of moisture
• assists in minimising the appearance of fine lines and writinkles

When we try beauty products out on Parenting Without Tears we obviously don't do double blind tests and so on. What we write about is whether or not we enjoyed using a product and if it worked or seemed to work for us and would we recommend it.

One of the best things you can do for your facial skin is to wear a cream with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15.  Skin Activator Day Lotion has this which is an immediate bonus for me. At £50.45/50ml is is in the higher price range but a little really does go a long way and it feels so good.

I was also trying out the Skin Activator Lip Refiner which also has SPF15 and is infused with peppermint essence that leaves the lip area tinglingly fresh. This costs £21.40/15ml and again is cost-effective in that you use so little of it.

Skin Activator Night Replenishing Cream (£44.80/50ml) is a really luxurious product. As you apply the cream it's as though you are passing silk across your face. The cream is readily absorbed and leaves your skin feeling fabulous. The pot I have is lasting well and I haven't stinted in using it.
