Strada Italian restaurants represent good value for money –
excellent food, pleasant surroundings, cheerful service and
child-friendly. Olivia and I took Harriet at the end of an afternoon's shopping in
Oxford Street to the
Strada in Market Place. It wasn't as
busy as it would be later in the evening so there was no problem with our
laden buggy being parked alongside the table to which a
high chair was swiftly brought along with some
crayons and the
children's menu.
We always have the
Sicilian olives while we decide on a
main course and Harriet loves them as well. Her appetite doesn't yet warrant eating from the
children's menu which offers a
choice of two pasta dishes, a pizza or chicken plus a dessert and a drink for
£5.75.
Olivia ordered a
rigatoni Siciliana and I had a
flat bread pizza which were both
delicious and came very quickly - a bonus for a
hungry toddler who enjoyed enjoyed sharing both meals.
An
awkward moment when we were awaiting our
cheese course was smoothed over by the arrival of some
breadsticks for Harriet brought by our
charming waitress.
As we were leaving we realised we'd need some
milk for Harriet and our waitress filled her bottle
free of charge.
We used a
two mains for the price of one voucher which meant our meal was real
value for money but more importantly we had, once again, enjoyed the
Strada experience. Visit the
