Even in the UK we have to be careful of the sun's rays especially on the sensitive skin on babies, children teens and not to forget adults and older people. This UV Protection Beach Shelter from Mountain Warehouse is perfect for the beach, park and garden and is compact and light enough to pack for your holidays abroad.
The UV Protection Beach Shelter comes with a slender carry bag to contain the tent plus poles and ground pegs. This is very light to carry (1kg) and can easily be accommodated in a suitcase when going on holiday.
It took me a moment to realise that the instructions are sewn into the the top of the carry bag for easy access. The instructions are simple as is the assembly – one long "rod" and two shorter ones which are tied into place once placed in their sleeves. Within minutes your shelter is erected and ready to use.
This tent is spacious enough for a family to sit in – 200cms long, 120cms wide and 120cms high plus is great for children to play with their toys in. I set it up in my garden first and Lizzie loved playing with her toys out of the wind!
The UV Protection Beach Shelter is easy to dismantle but you do have to work carefully at folding it very neatly to return it to the sleeve.
The important thing to emphasise is that although the tent offers UV40+ protection, a sunscreen should always be applied as well.
