The first time I
saw Mindflex™ being played was at Dream Toys. The game looked intriguing and
lots of fun even if the players looked a little strange in the headsets.The lightweight, wireless headsets are the key to the game as they measure your brainwaves and allow you to control a ball through an obstacle course. Concentrate hard and the ball rises, relax a little and the ball lowers. By doing this the ball can be manoeuvred around the course.
Mindflex™ is a game like no other and will keep anyone over the age of about eight, totally absorbed. It's weird but it works!
Designed for up to four players, Mindflex™ has five different game modes:
- Mental Marathon - race through the obstacle course
- Chase the Lights - "tag" as many lights as you can before the time runs out
- Danger Zone - escape each danger zone or lose the game
- Thoughtshot - score points by blasting the ball into the basket
- Freestyle - explore Mindset™ with no time limit
You will need four C and three AAA alkaline batteries which are not included.
