Play That TunePlay that Tune provides an electronic "keyboard" mat and cards with tunes on them in the form of numbers, which correlate to numbers on the notes on the keyboard.  I have probably made it sound more confusing than it really is. In actual fact we were able to get on with the game quite quickly as the instructions were clear and simple.

To play the tune you have to stand on the mat, hence game needs the same energy level as would be required for charades, that is you have to get up and down, and not stay slumped in a chair post large meal.

When we played the game (children 12 and nine and two adults), probably 50 per cent of our attempts at playing the tunes were unrecognisable. This may mean we needed better technique, and a few practice runs

It would be a difficult game for under seven years old, although they could join in trying to recognise the tune – there are a whole range of tunes on the cards form children's classics to pop tunes and film and TV theme tunes.

This is a fun game and, as mentioned above, with a little practice could provide some hilarious and silly hours of fun.
