Dan and Lottie (twins four years eight months) were thrilled to receive a set of Christmas pyjamas each from the Nutmeg range from Morrisons.
Dan’s were a suitably Christmassy red colour and featured pictures of dinosaurs, footballs, cars etc.
Dan is the bigger of the twins and his pyjamas were age four to five but still just fitted him though usually I would buy with a bit more room for growth.
The five to six size that Lottie received would have been more appropriate, so I would recommend, if in doubt, going for a larger size.
Lottie’s pyjamas featured a cute penguin on the top which Lottie really liked, though perhaps a winter design rather than a Christmas specific one.
Both sets were made of cotton though the trousers of Lottie’s set were a fleece material. Perhaps not so suitable if your children tend to get rather warm at night as do the twins.
She was rather taken with the third part of the set which was an eye mask with penguin eyes on it. Although velcroed at the back I wouldn’t feel comfortable letting her sleep in it.
A major plus with both pairs of pyjamas is that they can be tumble dried.
Both children are quite happy to wear the pyjamas… a big plus, especially when it comes to Lottie who has very set ideas about what she will and will not wear.
PWT rating: ♥♥♥♥♥
The Christmas pyjamas are available from Morrisons stores and online.
To wind down on Christmas Eve we recommend Stick Man by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler to young children and Quentin Blake's A Christmas Carol to older ones.
And for a festive film try Paddington or Get Santa.
