Landmark London restaurant, Simpson's in the Strand has provided the backdrop to countless family meals and treasured occasions throughout its 190-year history. Its contemporary "Bill of Fare" offers a special menu catering for its younger patrons, ensuring that family can dine out comfortably together, without feeling the unease that sometimes comes from fine dining with children or compromising on culinary standards. Harriet and Anne Coates were ladies who lunched. 

Looking for somewhere new to have a celebratory lunch, Anne Coates was recommended to try Brasserie Blanc Southbank, just by the Festival Hall in London. It was a five heart experience and there are six London restaurants to choose from as well as 14 more throughout the country.

Since May Feather Moon Kitchen (FMK), a new all dining experience with a consciously curated children’s menu, has been at Platform 1 in East Dulwich. Owner Chloe Gounder-Forbes has created a menu that focuses on healthy and organic food and she has also created a menu for children aged six months and above. Anne Coates went along for a taster with Harriet and a chat with Chloe. 

Martyn Coates and guest went along to the opening celebrations of the Brighton Marina branch of Las Iguanas and enjoyed a rather special meal.
