Bumble & Snug and the Worried Dragons by Mark Bradley

With Mark Bradley's Bumble & Snug and the Worried Dragons, we are back in Bugbopolis with two best friends: the EXTREMELY excitable Bumble and the more reserved and cautious Snug. This is their fifth romp together and, this time, Bumble and Snug are on an adventure full of danger and suspense (and, of course, their fabulous hats) when they have to return three baby dragons to their parents – but will they keep track of them?

Their travels take them from giant marshmallows to lava pits and a not-so-asleep sleeping giant in Sleeping Giant Mountains. Mark Bradley has created a bold and bright world in Bugbopolis and its surroundings, marvellously depicted at the beginning of each book in the form of a humorously illustrated map.
My daughter, Theia, is already a big fan of the series and this one did not disappoint. She loved the cuteness of the baby dragons, the silliness of Bumble but how we learn more about her friendship with Snug and how they get along together despite their differences.
Theia also loves the extra pages at the end on how to draw your own bugbots with all their various expressions.
PWT rating: ♥♥♥♥♥
