Yellow Felt Bunny KitFrida and I got the chance to review a new arts and crafts activity from Yellow Felt Bunny which is an online business which sells mail order craft kits. The kits contain all the materials to create something and is said to encourage creativity, develop fine motor skills and give parents an opportunity to take some quality time out with their children without the hassle of constantly trying to come up with new project ideas, and the time and expense of procuring the materials.

We were sent a kit to create a little "chore list".  Our pack contained a wooden door hanger and six pegs: the idea is that you decorate them, write the names of certain chores on each peg (for example: "Brush your teeth", "Put toys away") and when they need doing, you move the pegs to the "To do" side; when the chore has been completed you move the pegs to the "Done" side.

I was really impressed with the materials that came with the kit which included three pots of paint, one pot of PVA glue, a piece of ribbon, a tube of glitter, a tube of glitter glue, and various stones, tissue paper and glitter foam pieces to decorate with.

Frida really enjoyed putting the chore list together, and it is a fun replacement for the sticker chart idea or general nagging to get something done!

I found the kit to be of a high standard and would definitely look at buying more to use during the holiday periods or for a present for a child’s birthday.

I asked Frida to rate it and she gave it top marks!
