A Christmas Wish

As soon as you see the cover for A Christmas Wish you know it's a happy ever after film that makes easy watching!

Starring Kristy Swanson, Tess Harper and Edward Herrmann, the storyline for A Christmas Wish is simple – after her husband has left with all their money single mother leaves home  with her three children and ends up in a small town where the good folk ensure the family eventually find a home for Christmas.

Although there are a few dark moments (especially when the grumpy motel owner wants them out on Christmas eve and erstwhile husband turns up to collect his son) this is one of those films where almost everyone is too good to be true! But hey it's Christmas so why not suspend belief and enjoy?

A Christmas Wish doesn't hold a candle to It's a Wonderful Life or Miracle on 34th Street (both versions) but it may make you smile from time to time.
