If you love the
Muppets and have missed them, you'll adore
The Muppets DVD from
Walt Disney Studios.Walter is the world's biggest
Muppets fan since he saw a TV programme and rllaised how alike he looked to the
superstars. So he can hardly contain his excitement when his brother Gary (
Jason Segal) includes him in his holiday plans – a visit to
Los Angeles with his girlfriend Mary (
Amy Adams). The highlight of the trip will be a visit to the
Muppet Theatre. However this has fallen into disrepair and soon to be in the hands of the wicked oil baron (
Tex Richman).
Walter with the help of Gary and Mary must get the
Muppets together again to stage a
Muppet telethon to save the
theatre. Easier said than done as
Kermit is a recluse,
Fozzie Bear playing in a terrible parody of a show and
Miss Piggy is in Paris. But the
show must go on and the
film has a musical finale reminiscent of
Slum Dog Millionaire.
The Muppets DVD is a treat for
fans with lots of
bonus features and
deleted scenes.
