Now out on DVD, Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer's Llamas follows the success of Shaun the Sheep: The Movie from Aardman Animations and StudioCanal.
Farmer and Bitzer go to a Country Fair to enter the cake making competition unaware that Shaun has accompanied them. Sadly their offering is ruined by the arrival of three llamas on their way to the auction tent. Farmer and Bitzer follow on and Farmer is tricked by Shaun into purchasing the exotic llamas.
Back at the Mossy Bottom Farm, the flock of sheep initially welcome the boisterous trio and enjoy a riotous game of football. Then things begin to get out of hand and Shaun is blamed for introducing the bullying intruders.
Lots of lovely slapstick humour and a neat twist at the end all achieved in Aardman Animations inimitable style.
The DVD comes with some great extras including an introduction to the three llamas: Hector, Fernando and Raul which is delightful and some very funny wonderful extra short scenes that are a real bonus. Our favourite was Bitzer Over Easy – perfect slapstick.
