Sophie, the delightful
toy giraffe which has won so many accolades, is celebrating her
50th birthday and to mark the occasion has held a
National Birthday Card competition. The top 50 have been chosen and will be featured in her month long
exhibition at London based attraction,
Battersea Park Zoo during May (
opening 1 May).
In order to get a
great selection of cards for the
exhibition and get the national involved, Sophie invited her fans, be they little or grown up, to get the
art box out and start painting,
drawing and sticking and
design their very own
birthday card for her.
Apparently, it's definitely been quite a challenge
picking the winners for the final
birthday show!
The
exhibiiton runs for the month of May and an extra
special gift from the zoo for
Sophie's fans is an exclusive
