I love Michael Rosen's work so was delighted to receive this new collection of poems from him, entitles Out of this World with drawings by Ed Vere.
Here we have 12 long poems, written in Rosen's inimitable style which take the reader on a journey through time, history, geography.
Some of the poems will break your heart, others will perhaps resonate on all sorts of levels. Rosen explores what it is to be different, disappointed, and disillusioned. He also makes the reader laugh.
All of these poems bear reading over and over again.
The drawings by Ed Vere are a perfect complement to the verse.
