The Unmumsy Mum DiaryAccording to the latest research from Mintel:

  • 73 per cent of mums agree advertisements make parenting look easier than it is;
  • 72 per cent of mums and 67 per cent of dads feel they continue to be subjected to gender clichés, and agree that there are still too many stereotypes in advertising;
  • 50 per cent of dads agree that adverts give the impression they do not know what they are doing with kids.

So published by Corgi on International Women's Day and in time for Mothering Sunday, comes The Unmumsy Mum Diary by Sarah Turner author of the Sunday Times Bestseller, The UnMumsy Mum

I set up Parenting Without Tears to give guidance and advice but also to imbue parents with the confidence they need to act on their gut feelings. What I personally find so disappointing is the way some parents sit in judgement on others as though they had never had a child in meltdown or had opened a bottle of wine as soon as the kids were in bed because the day had been simply awful – from sibling rivalry to bullying at school.

Sarah Turner in The Unmumsy Mum Diary writes it as it is. She is eloquent, witty and honest. If you think everyone else is coping so well when you aren't, take a peek into Sarah's life and she'll reassure you that you are not alone.

The perfect antidote to the pressures and trials of parenting.
