Vote now for Tommy's "Let's Get Baby Friendly Awards" 2011

In the UK today, one in four women will lose a baby at some point during pregnancy or birth. Tommy's understands the heartache that can accompany the loss of a baby, as well as the incredible support provided to those suffering from pregnancy complications.  As such, the charity sets out to recognise family members, friends and health professionals that go that extra mile in its annual Let's get baby friendly Awards ceremony. 
 
There are four special individual awards:
 
Miracle Unit Award gives mums and dads across the UK the chance to recognise the neonatal miracle workers who gave their baby the best start in life.

Champion Children Award is especially dedicated to those born prematurely and to recognise the tenacious spirit of these young fighters whose courageous attitudes are an inspiration to all.

Hero Award recognises the support of a midwife, GP or any other health professional that has gone the extra mile for mums and dads during pregnancy or birth, or a pregnancy complication.

Angel Award is for a partner, relative or friend has supported you through a parenting or pregnancy-related problem such as miscarriage, premature birth or stillbirth. Tommy's and ASDA want to give you a chance to say a big thank you.

Tommy's Let's get baby friendly Awards also recognises the most family friendly products and services across the UK, in a bid to thank organisations which help make parents' lives less stressful whilst out and about with their baby.  Votes are cast in a wide variety of categories ranging from Best Baby Food Brand to Best Family Supermarket.
 
Also new to 2011, is the Green Award supported by Environmental Business Products, which will recognise the most eco-friendly family brand.
