The
Naturebotts' UV Sunsuit, made from soft
polycotton and lycra, is gentle against
baby's skin and breathable in the
heat. This playsuit is
designed to get wet and, unlike
regular cotton clothing, it maintains SPF50+ even when
wet.
We took our
Sunsuit to France in late June and it was
really useful. Eva (11 months) wore it
every day both in the
pool and out and we were able to
relax in the knowledge that she was
protected from the
sun. As the suit has
sleeves and
short legs, we only had to
worry about putting
sun protection cream on small amounts of
exposed skin which saved us
bugging Eva too often.
An
added benefit is that the suit also acts a bit like a
wet suit, and kept Eva's
shoulders warm while she was in the
pool.The
Sunsuit has poppers all the way down
one side making it
relatively easy to get on and off. It also
washes really well and
dries quickly, holding its
colour and
shape.
And the
icing on the cake? Eva looks
really cute in it!
The
UV Sunsuit comes in
three sizes: 6 to 12 months, 12 to 18 months and 18 to 24 months and two
colourways. It costs
£20 and is available from www.naturebotts.co.uk which stocks a host of
eco-friendly products for mothers and babies.
