I have been using La Roche-Posay's Toleriane Ultra, intense soothing care for face and eyes twice a day for a month now and was keen to try it as I have fair freckly skin, prone to redness and eczema. My eye area is also extremely sensitive often reacting and swelling to new products. I have a combination skin, with dry cheeks area, and an oily T zone.
La Roche-Posay's Toleriane Ultra is preservative, paraben, fragrance. alcohol, colorant and lanolin-free. it is presented in an appealing pump bottle within which the product is contained in a collapsible bag, which means it always pumps well as no air gets in and will enable easy usage of the last of the product.
The cream feels rich and smooth and is easy to apply, with only a small amount is required each time.The cream is absorbed easily, and my skin instantly felt soothed and soft. My skin adjusted immediately to using this new cream, with no breakouts, irritation or redness. It was with some hesitation that I used it around my eyes and on my eyelids, but I experienced no reaction at all and the skin felt soft and soothed.
My sensitive skin continues to feel nourished and in good condition and this lasts all day.
There is just one small niggle – the cream absorbs easily as I have said before, but for a while after application my skin appeared shiny.This did abate, but I felt conscious of it if I was going straight out after applying the cream.
I would definitely recommend La Roche-Posay's Toleriane Ultra to anyone with sensitive skin or who prefers an additive-free face cream.
