Phil Smith – Be Gorgeous
I found that this dry shampoo needed a really good shake before use, something which is not highlighted on the product so the first time I used it resulted in my head being covered in white powder which I couldn’t get rid of without washing my hair - defeating the object of dry shampoo!

However Phil Smith – Be Gorgeous does have a pleasant smell and – if used properly – rids my hair of any grease. I did not feel that it gave my lifeless hair any more volume, but if you bought this just to dry clean your hair then this is a useful product.

The packaging is cool and sophisticated appealing to women everywhere.
The canister itself is quite small so great for fitting into my handbag.

Phil Smith – Be Gorgeous costs £2.99 and is available from selected Sainsbury’s Stores.

Batiste
I liked the fact that this dry shampoo left no overwhelming smell on your hair or any white marks from the spray. Batiste brushes out of your hair with ease and leaves the hair looking plumped up and clean. However, I did need to spray quite a lot of the product to get this effect, which meant having to buy it more frequently.

What I most liked about Batiste was the fact that if you were running late you could quickly spray it into your hair and brush it out just using your fingers, which gave you almost the same effect – with no white marks.

The packaging is basic but it does what it says on the tin.

Batiste costs £1.99 and is available from Boots, Superdrug, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Asda, Waitrose and independent chemists.
