A real
drawback about keeping one's
feet warm in winter is the possibility of
smells and and
overheating so that
bacteria thrive. Not so with
Carnation Silversocks which contain
pure silver. The textile fibres have been
coated with silver which has many
properties including
controlling temperature, eliminating odour and
inhibiting growth of odour-causing bacteria.
I found the socks
extremely comfortable to wear and and they kept my feet
nicely warm throughout the
coldest weather.
My
only reservation is that they come in only
two sizes and the smaller ones were were
slightly large on my size three feet.
Apparently these socks bring
relief to people who suffer from
chilblains, diabetes, epiderolyis bullosa and
circulation disorders but as I'm lucky enough not to have any of thses conditions I couldn't comment on how effective they are.
Carnation Silversocks are priced £8.17 for adults in black sizes 3 to 7 and 6 to 11 and pink or blue in
children's sizes priced at £6.95.
