Pippa, aged three and a half, was lucky enough to attend the In The Night Garden launch. Upsy Daisy made a guest appearance and hugged all the children before the very lovely Cerrie Burnell from CBeebies read bed time stories to the young guests. Cerrie could not have made the event more special for the little ones and was happy to answer their questions and let them cuddle up by her for their "day time" bed time story.
All the children went home with In the Night Garden pyjamas, Pippa's have been washed and worn every night and were put on the second we came home from the party. They were also given a set of miniature In the Night Garden books which Pippa loves "reading" to her toys and a plush toy all packed in a lunch box.
Good Night Friends Upsy Daisy is really lovely, with high quality materials and well-designed clothes so that little hands can dress and undress the doll independently. Pippa was very keen on putting Upsy Daisy to bed in her pyjamas, "I love her pretty slippers" was her comment as she squeezed her close. Upsy Daisy comes with a little daisy-shaped night light and miniature book and is the perfect size for cuddles.
Good Night Friends Igglepiggle comes with his own bedtime story, lantern, removable pyjamas and slippers but for Pippa and the other little girls at the event it was Upsy Daisy and Cerrie who enthralled them.
