My face is prone to breakouts when stressed or run down, so I was keen to try the Dermalogia skin refining masque, with it's new improved formula.

This masque can be used all over the face or concentrated on certain areas, for example the T-Zone, to help purify the skin and eradicate excess oils that lead to blockages in the pores and spots. This would be especially useful for those who have very greasy skin.

The clay smooths on easily and dries within 10 to 15 minutes (or if you forget when you put it on, as I did the first time, just wait till the clay has all changed colour!) when you rinse it off. It has a refreshing smell, and is free from artificial fragrances and colours.

The product obviously helped to bring out my impurities as I am currently sporting three lovely spots!

After use the skin is left refreshed and does not feel tight or dry.

Dermalogica skin hydrading masque

This masque is perfect for older or dry skin. Its unique formula helps to trap moisture and restore the skin's own protective barrier to enhance moisture levels for healthier, smoother skin. Apply to cleansed skin and wait 10 to 15 minutes for the masque to do its work. The products is clear and feels like a moisturiser rather than a "face pack" so much so that on one occasion I just massaged the masque into my skin and left it on overnight. Face felt really smooth and soft the next day!
